Music Programs
CRHS Orchestra and String Ensemble
CRHS Orchestra is a relative new-comer to the school’s family of musicians. Students who belong to the string program participate throughout the year in bi-annual concerts and public appearances. The string program offers opportunities to perform pop literature as well as cutting edge pieces and concert masterworks. Ensembles from the string program regularly attend various local, regional and national contests throughout the year. Students who participate in good standing are eligible for nomination to All-Shore and All-State Honors Ensembles. All high school students with at least one year’s worth of prior experience on a violin, viola, cello or bass may join the string program – others may participate with director approval.
